My name is Mary & I am 17.

I live in Southern California… Orange County to be precise, but I was born and raised in the bay area (Northern California)

I go to a small Episcopalian private school, not by my choice.

I would say I am well-off but I truly appreciate everything I have and try not to let money define who I am as a person.

I love helping those in need and have spent my spring break and some of my summer vacation in Piura, Peru where 60 percent of the citizens live drastically below the poverty level. I have conjured up the courage to speak in front of my entire school about my experiences in Peru as well as started a school club called Project: Peru to help speak for the voices that have been forgotten.

My father is a recovering alcoholic, my mother struggles with alcoholism. But I love them dearly and they are just like every other parent, annoying, unfair, but knows whats best.

I have ADHD Inattentive, I went undiagnosed for 16 years and I struggled greatly but I also came to accept I was different and learned to make the best of it and deal with it.

My one true passion is Photography. My life would not be complete without it. To me, a picture is worth more than a thousand words. It is my escape and getaway.
